The big corporations simply found ever increasing ways to avoid paying (UNITED STATES) local taxes:
VERIZON = -5.9% - that's not a 'typo'; these are negative figures!
YAHOO = -9.6%

its nothing about internet, and all about 2-way Radio, if somebody overpowers (clips) the freq people are on, then no one can hear the other...STOMP STOMP ;)

Hello James

I think we see the handwriting on the wall with regards to our freedoms. Land ownership, guns, speech, the list goes on and on. The "net" is one of the main concerns for any increasingly tyrannical, dictatorial government. Free speech cannot be allowed, unless its approved the gov. As you remember, Obama has already tested the 'internet kill switch'. Why would he do that?  Where were the front=page outcries from the press? In a time of social unrest, cutting lines of communications between "we the people" will be vital for the government to maintain total control. I might suggest some 35 mi-range two-way radio's. Can they kill those, too? I don't know. Will S-W radio's still work? Ham radio's? Maybe someone here can help out with this.
