Less I have to get less complicated with age,, I can not figure much out these days I am old school I could handle dos.. I can not however figure out how to revive a computer when the OS is corrupt and it will not allow you to install a fresh hard drive I have purchased a chrome book now and the less i have to deal with masses of HDD and failures the better my life will become.. more thumb drives less HDD and yes more cloud storage,, tired of the new tech standing in the way of my access to my information..

I have two operation system in my computer. First Ubuntu Linux for the Internet and common office works like work sheets, text processing and graphics. Second, I have Windows 7 for applications that work under Windows only. I use Windows without Internet connection to effectively block all "updates"  and privacy risks. Linux comes with a free office application and does nor normally need any anti-virus programs. I also have an external hard drive that can be used with both Linux and Windows.

the reason being is the windows 8.1 will not allow me to reformat the drive and install a clean copy of windows 8.1,, they really screwed the consumer when they moved past windows 7... that was the last workable format.. now the os are toast once corrupted.. i want to roll all mine back to windows 7 which is almost obsolete

oh i will use thumb drives but even so ,,most will be cloud stored,,,

against my better judgement i ordered a chromebook,, tired of the corruption destroying my work,, now to use the cloud to store my work and then they will come get me first ,,, i must say i won't hide behind anyone's skirts..not even to save myself... if shit hits the fan...i will be the first wave down,,
