Action speak louder than words. Why were Malcolm and Martin Luther King about to unite and bring a civil rights bill to the United Nations if Martin tried to keep "blacks" from going the Malcolm route? After Malcolms' trip from Mecca, he decided to form the Organization of Afro-American Unity. This is when Malcolm did not have Elijah Muhammad in his ear and decided to work with other leaders, that includes Malcolm X. If he was so apart of the problem, then why were dog's sicked on him in Salem, abused in Montgomery, jailed in Birmingham? As well, why did Lloyd Jowers, James Earl Ray(a pasty who was framed as was Lee Harvey Oswald), Frank Liberto(who offered $100,000 to have King killed), Marrel McCullough(the Cia Agent who was standing by Kings side giving an order for a sniper to shoot), Carlos Marcello(the man who took the $100,00 job for the plan to kill Martin Luther King and a fervent racist; lets not forget the whole Memphis Police Department cooperated to. Now, would J Edgar Hoover send out his minions to kill this man...because he fits his description in the cointellpro plan which was to "Prevent the rise of a “messiah” who could unify, and electrify, the militant black nationalist movement." He, Malcolm X(Malcolm Little) Stokely Charmichael, Huey P. Newton, etc, all fit that description. I dare say that few of you have protested and been beaten, or spoke out against injustice when it did not benefit your stature. A lot of you on this site talk a lot, but I see little action, then want to deface those who were on the front and battling for social equality. A bunch of cowards who stand behind a computer screen and discuss, discuss, discuss. Bull... that man was trying to be apart of the solution, your hateful rhetoric, and profane balderdash is what is causing the problem. My father met Dr. Martin Luther King and marched with him. I suppose some of you subscribe to this ideology: http://www.reformation.org/king.html. That's cool, but just know there are holes in this man's argument and holes in your's too. I am for peace, love, and justice, I don't do Internet arguments, but before you slander one of my hero's learn All the facts. Peace and Love my brothers.
@ Nota Khan...
...now you're talking!

"US always finds someone to use to obtain their objectives...Dr King just happened to be the right person at the right time."
The only thing I'd change is "US" ;-) Of course "MLK" is a creation of the puppet masters but the idol-worshippers that we are, we will not see beyond that (and they know this about us and are always able to control us through such manufactured dissent). Now, at best MLK was himself unaware of his surrogate role (though I doubt it). And what happened to his dream you already talked about. :)
Personally I think one of MLK's major roles was to keep blacks from going the Malcolm-X/Black Panthers route ("By any means necessary...") and he did this successfully by selling them the Gandhi "non-viloence" bullshit!
But this is not only true with "blacks" movement. This neutering has been performed on all the Leftist movements as well and their "leadership" hijacked to turn them into controlled opposition.
P.S. I am surprised how many still believe: "But his dream came true...we have a BLACK president!!!!" ;-)
@ Shakta....
...I said Dr. King was part of the problem, fact is the US always finds someone to use to obtain their objectives...Dr King just happened to be the right person at the right time. Why would black America agree to give up their natural right to provide for self and kind? Why would anyone agree to do this in exchange for welfare and the ability to vote? His "dream" has amounted to nothing more than a nightmare. Their is no community in this country without an economy...except the black community.
Why? How? Do you think this happened by accident or design? Please don't speak on things if you don't know the facts. Though it may not be a public fact, it is a fact...just open your mind....opinions don't matter.
Whatever person said that Dr.King was part of the problem...is part of the problem.
People that make excuses for not doing what they should are part of the problem. People know there is a wrong that needs to be righted here. So you make excuses. That's fine. But my opinion is...and will always be...fight for what you believe in. Some may think you are wrong. Some may not.
But fight for what you believe in. Don't let your race stop you, don't let politics cower you, don't let your personal associations hold you back, don't let philosophical arguments blind you.
Otherwise all you are is an armchair warrior. Your words mean absolutely nothing. The internet is filled with useless words. Your deeds...matter.
DO something. If the Black Caucus wants to act-then act. With or without their whining dissenters.
What a crybaby lol. Dr.King knew he would have to take a bullet for his views, and he did it. He died for his cause.
Boo hoo the Black Caucus cannot stand up for themselves because other Black people are "judging" them.
Pity.
