Breaking: Southern California blackout led to shutdown of two reactors at San Onofre nuclear power plant --1.4 million without power --The city of San Diego has set up its emergency operations center. 08 Sep 2011 More than 1.4 million customers lost power during a blackout in the San Diego area, and utility officials said power might not be fully restored until Friday. San Diego Gas and Electric said the outage appears to have originated in Arizona and that the agency is working with California power officials to bring the power back. Officials said the outages extended across Southern California and into Arizona and Baja California.

Blackout shuts down San Onofre nuclear reactors 08 Sep 2011 The blackout affecting large swaths of San Diego County led to a shutdown of two reactors at the San Onofre nuclear power plant. Gil Alexander, a spokesman for Southern California Edison, said the power outage did not cause any safety issues. Alexander said a fluctuation in power caused the reactors to shut down at 3:38 p.m. but that the overall plant continues to have power.
Power out for millions in Calif., Ariz., Mexico 08 Sep 2011 A power outage is affecting millions of people across southern California, Arizona and Mexico. San Diego Gas & Electric Co. Darcel Hulce said that crews Thursday believe the outage was caused by a system breakdown [?!?] and assured people it was not the result of a terror attack. All outgoing flights from San Diego's Lindbergh Field have been halted and police stations are using generators to accept emergency calls.

I think we should build MORE COAL burning Power Stations.
Now this is a REAL Environmental CATASTROPHE.
I think ALL Atomic Power Stations should be BANNED they are polluting the World with cancer causing pollution for a 1000 years.

This is just a reminder of why we need to be prepared with food and water. Gold and Money won't help us when all hell erupts. I will be attending a disaster planning conference in Sacramento soon. It will be interesting to hear how the Japanese handled the Massive Earthquake, Nuclear Meltdown, and Tsunami. Alleged Pres Obama sent out a proclaimation for the month of September to be Disaster Preparedness Month. HAARP or whom ever will be creating chaos & false flags so Obama can look good. What a mess. Be safe and Prepare with food, water and a way to grow food for ongoing needs. Peace to all.

to anthony kimbrough I dont know your possision in life,but I am disabled in a wheel chair for the rest of my life there needs to be something done about the system and im sure there are several million people on sociol security that are scaming tb he system,but i for one paid into the system for years,and i would be dead without it and how about the older citizens out tthere i guess your one of those people who think we should be taken outside a building ans shot in the head/cry out for your false flag,but how about a little compassion for the people who need this to exsist.

Massive blackout hits California, Arizona and Mexico
Traffic ground to a halt across San DiegoA massive power outage has left more than two million people without electricity in the US states of California and Arizona, and in Mexico.
The blackout caused traffic chaos in several cities and forced California's two nuclear reactors to shut down.
San Diego was the worst affected city, and all outbound flights from the city's airport were cancelled.
Officials are now investigating the cause of the outage, but terrorism has been ruled out.
