I thought the madness of crowds was over. I mean, I lived thru the dot-com thing, the housing bubble, the banking bust, the patent boom, the oil crunch... (actually, several oil messes)...

And still things happen to confuse me.

The Asian flu? Which case? After the (Taiwan) airport got finished or the fiber-optic cable landed?

Bubbles, every one of them. Trust me.

Not a manufactured bubble like the patent wars... (strictly admin law; closing, then jail-breaking the iphone. I expect lots more of this kinda thing.)

Not a molybdenum boom in Quebec. Or the oil-sands splurge.

(Typical Canadian booms. Just wait till they find out about the HUGE undersea coal beds in Nova Scotia.)

Speaking of bubbles, Water exports will be worth trillions. Google that and find out just how much mud the establishment will throw to take it over. (glacial water exports, I think.)

Some Yank (and everyone around him) got smeared out of town, his monopoly legislated over to blue-bloods ( Mal-roney included), and had all the judges retire and croak
right after stomping him down.

Every other province is itching to get the same action; I'm betting it won't move till the 'correct' people own and control the industry.

By hook or crook, so far. It looks like a nasty industry.

But the bubbles live on.

Most favored nation status (for china) has wiped N.american
industry out. What little survived Mexico free trade.

NOW we get all this hype and foaming at the banks for barrel scraping action on housing and sech.

So the old age-boom is about security. Security for jobs, all the weird immigrants on your lawn and EVERYONE thinking about the children.
