No one knows when and where it suddenly opens. Recently many mysterious holes have been reported worldwide.

Today, a huge circular formation can unexpectedly appear at one place, tomorrow at another. If we are really unlucky, it can be just outside your house, or mine, in the neighborhood, or any local interstate.

These holes are enormous. Whole buildings have been swallowed by them and large roads totally damaged.

A while back we wrote about a giant sinkhole in Sweden that keeps expanding.

Since then a number of similar unexplained holes have been reported world-wide. One of them was a in Florida some weeks ago, another one was In China.

A huge, mysterious sinkhole has now also appeared just yards from people's homes in Newburn, near Newcastle.

The 10ft deep crater appeared suddenly on the afternoon of Thursday, May 17, 2012 taking an 8ft section of brick wall with it.
