"Electromagnetic waves can induce visions" or "how blue beam research leads to god"

Starting with the Blue Beam material, and picking just one simple topic... Extra Low Frequencies... i was led down a path to the proof of gods existense, or the proof of gods non-existence depending upon your point of view. However i am not interested in hashing out old quandries and gripes concerning Gods existence of lack there of.

The very idea that a particular wave, directed at a particular area of the brain can induce feelings of happiness, sadness, or that creepy feeling someone is in the room with you should be delegated to the heap bin of science fiction, right? Im afraid not my dear friend, for the facts are far from fiction and science is only about to blow your minds.

Follow the rabbit trail... see where it leads you .....

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
An Introduction
by Grant Balfour
May 6, 2002
One of the newest avenues of research into the mind-body relationship has nothing to do with religious ritual, ethnobotany, or tinkering with brain chemistry. It's about altering the way the brain behaves on the most basic level -- the electrical impulses that constantly stream from neuron to neuron.

Psychological researchers call it "transcranial magnetic stimulation" or "TMS". The basic premise of TMS is that the brain operates using electric signals, and it's possible to alter the way the brain works by altering the electrical environment. Standard equipment consists of something to generate an electromagnetic signal at a specific frequency, and a coil to focus that magnetic field on specific brain regions.

This Is Your Brain on God

Michael Persinger has a vision - the Almighty isn't dead, he's an energy field. And your mind is an electromagnetic map to your soul.

Michael Persinger, Professor of Psychology at Laurentian University, Ontario, Canada, has his own theory regarding EMFs and ghosts. In his book, Hauntings and Poltergeists, Dr. Persinger theorizes even weak EMF exposure can stimulate a person's temporal lobe and thus produce a sensation of not being alone or being surrounded by unseen beings.

Another theory of Dr. Persinger's is that paranormal experiences are simply side effects of the brain's two halves trying to work together to figure out something. The right hemisphere of the brain controls emotion and certain stimulus will trigger activity. When the left, or language, side of the brain attempts to figure this out, "misfires" can occur. This will result in flickers of lights, brief glimpses of old memories, etc. and could explain ghost lights, apparitions and other supposedly paranormal experiences.

Neuropsychiatric Practice and Opinion

The Neuropsychiatry of Paranormal Experiences
Michael A. Persinger, Ph.D., C.Psych.
From the perspective of modern neuroscience all behaviors and all experiences are created by the dynamic matrix of chemical and electromagnetic events within the human brain. Paranormal experiences might be considered a subset of these neurogenic processes.

Research Areas:
Anything involving discovery and the pursuit of infinite possibilities. However, my primary thrust is: treatment of the behavioral and neuronal changes subsequent to mild closed head injuries in rats and humans; treatment and understanding of mechanisms involved with epilepsy (temporal lobe; partial complex) in rats and humans; the electromagnetic correlates of consciousness and experience; experimental simulation of mystical and religious experiences within the laboratory; treatment of depression and pain by physiologically-patterned transcerebral magnetic fields; identifying the "Rosetta Stone" for the equivalence of molecular structure with the temporal sequence of magnetic fields; the impact of modern neuroscience upon legal, philosophical, and psychological principles in modern society; integration of the central themes and problems of the social and physical sciences.
