Federal Government’s Fiscal Insanity Read And Learn

As Congress quibbles over the debt ceiling and refuses to acknowledge the sheer weight of the evidence that if the deficit continues unchecked with the Federal Reserve continuing to print fiat currency, our dollar will collapse. Period, no ifs ands or buts. That collapse will lead to chaos in this country.

Timothy Geithner’s fear mongering about what will happen if the government does not raise the debt ceiling is politically motivated in order to help prop up the Democrat cause of continuing their reckless spending. Ask yourself if you support the Democrat party and President Obama, does it appear that a government that refuses to compromise on its spending while destroying the value of its currency really care about the people of its nation?

No, don’t tell me about how the Republicans won’t approve tax increases or make the oil companies pay corporate taxes. Our government has already done a great job of running off American business with the highest corporate tax percentage in the world! Where have the jobs gone? Overseas.

Let’s take a look at the yard stick of prevailing wisdom when it comes to sound financial principles, we study the failure of Keynesian economics, the very model adopted by Democrat leadership. Let us see just how the federal government has economically impaled the fiscal budget and bludgeoned the national employment picture. Oh, and just remember one thing. The petroleum producing industry employs millions upon millions of Americans, who are not on the unemployment rolls or further adding to the liberally oriented deficit destruction of our nation.

There are currently 21 million government employees in this country. 4.25 million are in the military. 16 million are employed on the federal and state level. Of these, an astonishing 77,000 workers earn more than our state governors! Did you get that? Employment in the private sector is down by 6.6% while the federal government has increased their job force by 11.7 %. Well, you say, so the government is providing jobs. Sure pal, those jobs add to the federal budget and increase the deficit. There is no net gain, only a net loss when you increase federal employment.

What jobs provided by the government were actually worth more than the salary paid to a state governor? Let’s see, 5000 air traffic controllers, you know the guys caught sleeping on the job while the airliners must land without their help. 22 librarians are paid more than governors. Also computer operators made up the rest of those lavishly paid employees. I’m not advocating that state governors be paid more money, but it is obvious that there is something incredibly wrong when federal employees are this overpaid compared to comparable jobs in the private sector. This is emblematic of the out of control spending that is crushing our nation’s economy.

And you thought that state employees who trashed the state capitol building in Wisconsin along with paid protestors on the union payroll were justified in raising hell over simply being asked to help the state balance the budget there by giving up a mere 6% of their generous benefits packages as opposed to raising taxes or accepting pay cuts? State jobs and federal government jobs only provide employment that increases state spending and justifies tax increases. With swollen benefits packages demanded by their unions, the economic penalties only continue.

While 26 million people are currently unemployed this leaves 92 million workers currently managing to retain their jobs in the private sector. The government talks of closing the gap in the government budget shortfalls by either increasing tax revenues or getting more tax out of nonpayers, but the truth is that your income tax goes to the Federal Reserve and does not pay for government operation. Yet, federal officials echoed by the mainstream media continue with the call for more taxes in order to finance out of control government spending.

The only way to stop the insanity of state and federal level deficits is to cut the size of the government bureaucracy and infrastructure. There is a huge state employee fraternity of union workers who must be cut back. Either that or dissolve the employee unions who also collect sizable dues and subsidies to operate.

There are gigantic federal departments whose swollen budget most be slashed or the entire agency terminated all together.  The Department of Energy is one dinosaur who has got to go. Created during the Carter Administration, this entity has mushroomed into a gigantic organization with a huge budget, yet its contributions are negligible. A commission should be formed that would review each federal program and department to identify duplicity, waste, and unnecessary infrastructure, and slash those expenses borne of back door brother in law deals.

The government does not need to be involved in bailing out private business, subsidizing liberal broadcasting, funding abortions, or establishing national healthcare. Government infrastructure is never cost effective, competitive, or managed like a responsibly run business since state agencies merely raise their budgets and continue by soliciting for more funds.

Our welfare state oriented government has convinced Americans to kneel on the altar of a giant federal bureaucracy to solve our problems, decide what is right for us, and erode our freedoms as we are told what to do in order to comply with ever increasing laws and regulations. We Americans have been duped into accepting greater degrees of invasion into our privacy by big government without realizing the consequences.

The current crisis threatens to bring down our financial system while allowing the bankers to get away with indiscretions that would put the normal citizen in jail for a long time. By allowing the intervention of out of control government we have virtually assured our enslavement as the quality of life in America degrades into servitude to higher taxes, increasing costs of living, and more compliance with impossible regulations. Welcome to America in 2010.

Bottom line the whores in congress are going to rise the debt celling, make promises to limit spending and never follow through. We're going to be downgraded by foreign rating agency's in the next year. Then domestic agency's will follow along with a rise in our intrest rates and a new "dip" in the markets that will be called a depression by mainstream annalists months after once its obivious. The depression will be a slow agonizing slide into 3rd worlddom. An event will trigger a collapse somewhere alone the slow slide and there will be a flash crash... I believe this is all inevitable unless 90%+ of congress and the president are replaced with Ron Paul clones in the next 2-4 years.

Please, if you haven't done the work and research, don't waste my time with frivolous arguments just because you emotionally identify with the liberal absurdity. It shows your ignorance.
