For all those anti-war buffs quick to denounce any military actions of the US and to allege that any such defensive developments on foreign soil are unwarranted here is one simple answer to that skepticism. “Would you rather we fight them (terrorists) over there or here?” Of course, that option's even been taken away now as the Biden Circus has allowed some 1.3 million unvetted illegal aliens from all over the world to be transported anywhere they want in our country. This appears to be a coordinated invasion over our undefended southern border by an unconstitutional and treasonous Biden White House.

The beginning

Case in point over the Middle East. We began with the development of oil and gas there which provided a new economy for the countries involved as well as a new standard of living for Arabs and once American producers were faced with the hostility that involved the confiscation of drilling platforms and production in 1973, Arab nations found an even more rewarding standard of living though they did not have the expertise to operate these facilities. However, anything involving fuel on that grand a scale would inevitably attract terrorism as the insurgents would be backed by our Communist enemies in an attempt to destabilize the US and our western allies.

Another intelligence breach

Despite the controversy around 9-11 and who was covertly responsible, still there was no doubt that a large contingent of terrorist organizations were forming massive infrastructure financed by Russia and China for the express purpose of hitting America at some point in time when conditions were right, and on 9-11 as our intelligence corps failed us, refusing to share evidence, we found out just how costly that failure could be as well as just how inept our own people were!

Obama’s fingerprints

Obama’s “Arab Spring” was greeted by the fall of Egypt to the Muslim Brotherhood and the leadership of Mohamed Morsi, a friend of Hillary Clinton, to the rebellion of a stable Libya when Muammar Gaddafi was assassinated during the overthrow of his country yielding a twofold defeat. 1) Al Qaida and other terrorist organizations gained sanctuary. 2) This led to the Benghazi massacre of the US Consulate resulting in the murder of Ambassador Stevens and three of his elite body guards while President Obama ordered a stand down on any rescue attempts by nearby American military assets.

Who is really running the show?

In fact, Obama’s finger prints are all over the Afghanistan fiasco as one can recall what happened in Lebanon as US Marines and the Ambassador were ordered out of the country, all troops were told to drop their weapons and leave them and 400 million dollars of military arms and hardware were left for the terrorists to use! Just as in Afghanistan today as 83 billion dollars of US weapons, aircraft, and bio metric data have been confiscated by the Taliban. They now have the third largest air force in the world with US helicopters and strike aircraft among high tech items that Russia and China will now be able to reverse engineer for their own military use!

They have the advantage!

What is catastrophically worse though is that the Taliban with the surrender of Bagram Air Base now have air superiority only making the threat against our troops and the indefensible airfield at Kabul in even worse danger than before! This horrific mishandling of a withdrawal that was botched by President Biden and his politically compromised military will go down as the worst foreign policy debacle in all of American history! Some are now calling this failure as the US version of Dien Bien Phu, the defeat of the French in Indo-China in 1954. A disaster and terrible loss by the French army who had assumed they would be reinforced by the US military! Much like the conditions at Kabul Airport surrounded by a city and hardly defensible, the French found themselves surrounded within a valley and despite courageous efforts were overcome due to their ill-advised choice over their defensive position. The Communists eventually mercilessly bombarded the French from the surrounding hills with Chinese backed artillery and the bitter end became inescapable.

Bloody reminders

Is there a correlation between Kabul, Saigon in 1975, and Dien Bien Phu? The comparisons are disturbingly apparent, and the possible outcomes could be even worse. With at least 10,000 known Americans unable to get to the airport, 5 to 6 thousand US troops surrounded and at the mercy of captured US weapons used by the Taliban, it would seem the writing is on the wall. Not to mention the lies being told by the Biden Administration, claiming that Taliban checkpoints have been allowing Americans through with passports, desperate Americans emailing and contacting government sources have been unable to get help unless former veterans of the GOP take action, and that White House promises of airlifting all Americans out have turned out to be lies as planes less than half loaded have flown out of Kabul with more Afghans than US personnel! Sources say that the promised rescue flights announced by the Biden White House have decreased rather than expand as the looming disaster continues!

Now ask yourself, how imprudent would it be for the CCP to ignore this opportunity to invade Taiwan or to intimidate Formosa into capitulation as they watch the events unfold in Afghanistan? Already pre-occupying the US military and the inept Biden White House is a smoldering disaster at Kabul. Could US regional command in the South Pacific really respond effectively in Taiwan? Yes, we would have Japan and Australia, perhaps the Philippines, but from what they have seen of US hesitancy to commit to an ally? With the 83 billion in US hardware given to the Taliban after retreating from Bagram Air Base, terrorists now have more attack helicopters than Australia!

Does this White House give a damn?

Among the lies of Biden and his incompetent Pentagon generals we see the French and Germans deploying their troops to venture outside of their defensive perimeters, meet the Taliban head on and rescue their citizens. Why are US troops not taking the initiative and venturing outside the airfield at Kabul to go and get Americans trapped thanks to Biden’s idiotic strategy? I guess our own people simply aren’t that important to this federal government! Playing devil’s advocate here, with another 2 to 3 thousand US troops planned to arrive, once a military withdrawal begins, who covers the troops left on the ground? Who saves our forces once the Taliban sees that we are escaping? Remember, the Taliban now have air superiority! This could be another  bloody chapter in US strategic history especially with the already announced time table of departure.
