***How to Post a Blog on 12160***
Please avoid the following mistakes:
This post consists of two helpful guides. The first is a technical guide specific to posting blogs and discussions on 12160 and will help you troubleshoot some common problems. The second, Tips for Blogging, is a general guide to help you develop and improve your blogging skills.
1) The Blog Section. To find the Blog section, click on ‘Blogs’ at the top of any page then use the drop-down menu for 'All Blogs'. A blog contains text, either an article or your original writing. It may contain related photos and videos as well as links to sources and related material. Videos and photos without related text may not be posted in the Blog section. Instead, post them in the Video and Photo sections respectively. If you repost an article, you must include an active link back to the original source. If you are posting your own work, type '(Original Content)' after the title. You may post up to five (5) blogs per day but no more than three (3) in one twelve-hour period.
2) Stay on Topic. The subject of your blogs should be related to the New World Order and its various issues.
3) Avoid Duplicates. Duplicate posts are easily avoidable. Before blogging, type or paste the article title into the 12160 search engine, located in the upper right corner, to make sure it has not already been posted. If you get search results, scroll through them to verify if it is the same article you want to post or just some other post with similar keywords. If the article has already been posted, you may add comments to it and/or additional information/material, but please do not post another copy of it.
4) Add Your Blog. From the Blog page, click on ‘Add’ on the right side near your name. The ‘Add a Blog Post’ window opens.
A. Add the Title. If you are posting your own work, type '(Original Content)' after the title.
B. Add Text. Type or paste your text in the Entry box. You have editing tools to work with similar to those in word processing or email programs. Use these tools to make your blog visually appealing. At the end, be sure to add your active link back to the original source site if you are reposting an article. Do NOT paste more than 40% of a reposted article. See Comply with DMCA below.
C. Adding a Photo(s) to Your Blog. If you are unable to copy a photo into your blog, save it to your computer. Put your cursor at the point where you want to insert the photo. Just above the Entry box, find the ‘Photo’ icon and click it. An ‘Add Image from My Computer’ box opens. Browse for the photo and select it. You may resize it by changing the pixels. Click ‘OK’ and the photo will appear in your blog. If you need to resize the photo again, select it, then click on the tiny box that appears at the corner and drag or push it diagonally to make the image larger or smaller.
D. Adding Video to Your Blog. Video(s) may be added to your blog if it's part of or related to the article in the blog. It is always preferable to embed a video rather than just post the link to it. To embed the video, select the 'HTML Editor' (upper right-hand side of box) and paste the embed code at the point where you want it to appear. Then click 'Visual Mode' and you should see the outline of your video. Click on ‘Preview’ to make sure your video is actually there and working properly. You should not have problems with YouTube, Vimeo, Hulu, Blip, and Google videos. Other formats may or may not work. One more possibility is to search YouTube as many videos have been reposted in the YouTube format. However, if you are stuck with a format that is not embeddable, then go ahead and post the link or hyperlink.
E. Add Tags. Adding tags makes it easy to find your blog. Please use keywords that are relevant to your article. Tags are separated by commas, see sample format: banks, Illuminati, NWO, Obama. See additional information below in Tips for Blogging, #7. Also see What are Tags?
F. Publish or Save as Draft. You may publish your blog now or at a future date. If you are not finished with it, you may save it, click ‘Save as Draft.’
G. Privacy, Comments and Moderation. The choice is yours but please be aware that you may get disappointing results. Since 12160 is a social network site, most members choose ‘Everyone’ as the option for both viewing and commenting. For viewing, ‘Everyone’ means both members and visitors to the site can view your blog. For commenting, ‘Everyone’ means only members can comment on your blog. If you choose, ‘Just My Friends’ you limit the number of comments you might receive. If you choose ‘Just Me’ you will not receive any comments and members will most likely skip over your blogs in the future. Likewise, if you choose to ‘Moderate’ your blog comments, many members may ignore your future blogs.
H. Preview. Always preview your blog at least once before publishing it. Please note that your links and/or hyperlinks will appear in highlighted text. Are there any typos or mistakes? Is it neat and visually appealing? Do your links work? Do your embed codes work? This is your opportunity to correct any errors. Make your corrections and click ‘Preview’ again. Once you are pleased with your blog, delete the Preview page and click ‘Publish Post.’
I. Edit. If you need to make changes/corrections to your blog once it has been posted, click on 'Options' at the top, select 'Edit Post' and make your corrections. Click 'Publish Post' and your post will be saved with the corrections.
5) Comply with DMCA. All posts must comply with DMCA. See complete details here.
6) Comments. The best way to get comments on your posts is to comment on other members’ posts. When members comment on your posts, respond back and hopefully get a dialog started. Remember that participation is the key to success on social network sites. Read Tips for Blogging below for suggestions on making your blogs more interesting.
7) Questions. Confused? Still have questions? Please contact Site Questions, Comments and Complaints and we will do our best to help you.

**Tips for blogging on 12160**
This is simple guide to instruct Newbies on how to get the most out of blogging. This is not a definitive guide to blogging, just useful suggestions on how to blog. Bloggers will likely increase their exposure by following some simple blog guidelines.
1) Be Original. If you are copy and pasting a Mainstream news article, please add an intro to the article to state your views and opinions on it as it helps the reader see the New World Order relevance to it. Or PREFERABLY just "quote" the most important part of the article (using the block quote tag) and post the link to the full article. Offer your own summary of what the article is about and why you think the reader should look into it or at least ask for opinions on it to encourage comments. Remember that not every one may be as awake as you to the issues involved, so help them to see the point you're making. You must always cite your source and provide an active link to the original article.
2) Stay on Topic. Opinions are generally accepted but the content of the items in the blog should all relate to exposing the NWO and their crimes, and providing solutions, tips and hints. Unless you have an uncanny knack for wit, humor or cynicism, the majority of your readers will be interested in the content that relates to a specific defined theme or loosely defined area of interest. Most readers won't care that you eat Cheerios for breakfast. They may, however, be interested in the fact that vinegar takes out stains and that stripped electrical cable makes good animal snares. Define a topic and stick to it. This will ensure that you create a loyal following of interested readers.
3) Stay Informative. If you are attempting to create the impression that you are knowledgeable about a specific subject, be sure that you stay current on news. If you are voicing an opinion, be sure to check your facts; your reputation is at stake. If you are offering an opinion, be sure to qualify your post, making it clear that the content is intended as an editorial.
4) Old News is Not News. While blogging every day can be a drain, it is important that the information presented is current and accurate. Writing an article or blurb about something that happened six months ago will not be of interest to many. Telling your audience that Martha Stewart was convicted and will be going to prison after her sentence is completed will make people question the value of your columns.
5) Presentation. Make use of pictures because, as the saying goes, a picture says a 1000 words and draws the readers' attention to your article. To obtain a picture just do a quick search engine scan on your subject for a related picture. If possible please refrain from using all CAPITALS within your blog.
6) Clarity and Simplicity. Keep your posts and blog entries clear and easy to understand. Keep in mind the web is global and therefore expressions, idioms and acronyms don't always translate. Sometimes a little explanation goes a long way.
7) Keyword-rich. If the goal of your blog is to increase your visibility, include related keywords in the title of the blog. Use the title as a headline to attract interest. Each item post should have a title that will attract attention but still be relevant to the post. The title should be no longer than 10-12 words. In the 'Tags' box underneath the blog entry section, please put as many keywords in that are relevant to your blog as this is also scanned by search engines and will get your blog plenty of coverage.
The format for tags is as follows:
keyword, keyword, keyword, keyword
for example :
truthers, patriots, freedom fighters, militia members, political news
8) Quantity Matters. In order to attract the attention of search engines, you will need to develop content and substance. A headline or simple sentence is not going to generate the interest of readers or help with search engine ranking. Be sure to archive old blog posts to develop a large portal of similarly-themed content. Ideally take several articles and re-write them into one as this makes your content original and more informative than the rest. Point out the differences between source articles and offer you opinion as to the reality. Original content is the key to your success as a blogger.
9) Frequency. If your blog content is updated frequently, search engines will tend to spider the pages at regular intervals.
10) Spell-Checking and Proof-reading. It only takes a few extra moments and can save you from having to make embarrassing explanations. Remember that whatever you publish on the internet can be found and archived. Think carefully about what you post before doing so.
Most weblog audiences are small but with time and regular updates audiences grow. Bloggers may never have more than a few hundred readers but the people who return regularly are generally interested in what you have to say.
