Im sorry but this place is so brain dead u just keep BOWING to barry soetoro AKA obama and im sure u will be fine !! I LOVE YOU but im not going to sit here and act like everything is just peachy, and post crap like im picking plums because it makes u feel good !! Our COUNTRY is going to crap and all u care about is American Idol and Bacholor Pad !!!

Our brother is having a BABY and Im FIGHTING FOR HIM/HER's FUTURE!! and if u think thats wrong and u want to block it out , and sit on ur couch and drink ur fluoridated water, and eat ur GMO food so be it !!

BUT DONT TELL ME WHAT I CAN OR CANT POST !! this is still AMERICA and freedom of speech is still in place !!!

I have a facebook account but only do family stuff, in fact, to those of you from here who have friended me there sorry, just family .
I really never use the fb account and often considering dumping it. If and when I start another account I would love to hook up with all you great 12160 folks!

I gave up long ago trying to wake up my family, however when the opportunity arises I will sneak in some info bombs :) Unfortunately you will have better luck waking up or even discussing these things with strangers. I am convinced its an ego issue and family just doesn't want to feel another knows better.

Comment by bryan l on September 3, 2010 at 1:41am: it's a tough job, but we gotta do it. otherwise i believe we are no better. keep expressing your love to your family. trust me! if you bring out your best points, they will start to sink in. but don't make fun of them because of the stupid shit they watch on t.v. make your points and be consistent, and keep loving your family the way they should be. they way you would expect to be treated. don't get me wrong, Some people just can't be reached. like Winston Smith said. but don't give up on family.

But they will, when it slaps them in the face! My family is the same way, everything to them is just a phase! But now with the mention of the pension thing, my parents are now asking questions! People just have to have a jolt before they wake up! They go along in life thinking it won't happen to them, because it isn't in their face, YET!
You go and keep the faith and try to plant the seed of awareness in people minds, it is only going to help the in the long run. Prepare for when it does spark them, they will have a lot of questions that only you will be able to answer!

It used to get me so frustrated and sad when my family and friends wouldn't listen to me or disregard what I had to say because of their own fear of the unknown or them thinking I was just plain crazy.

I have come to the conclusion now that you can't make anybody listen or hear the truth unless they are ready for it themselves. It's like trying to get an addict to admit they have a problem and that they need help. They will only seek out the help when they are ready to and so goes for seeking truth behind the curtain. You can't force anybody to do anything that they don't want to do. You can plant seeds and hope that they will grow but that is all you can do.
