I've read some of the articles written on "The Family" and their insanely psychotic for sure. If it is not a cult it is only because they need no brain washing since it's members are psychotic and and their own self-importance does the recruiting. One of their most important religious rituals seems to be "shooting baskets for Jesus" - I shit you not.
