We already have limits on the number of blogs and videos that can be posted in one day.  No one pays any attention to it. The problem is we have no moderators to enforce the rules.

I may delete dup's based on an adap-orithm :)
if it has comments, vs another with none
if its by an active member vs not so active

any other suggestions?

yea, it is a quirky search engine isn't it.. i have figured out how to use it it pretty well, but it's far from perfect. Google is your best bet for sure.

Yea, James, you're onto something. By limiting the blog postings, you are encouraging participation in other neglected areas of the site, like, groups, photos, the discussion forum. The group section was dead for a long time until we slowly resurrected it -- mostly with new groups. If it aint new it's through right ;)

amy, there is a search box at the top right of every page. The search box next to your name. It says Amy V, sign out, and next to that a search box that says "Search 12160" in the search box.

Yep, that's exactly right. I may post a blog or two, maybe three, then if I find more news worthy stories, or w/e that is really important, then I post in the discussion forum, as well as the group forum.

Never thought to do a blog type posting in photos. Smart ;)

I just typed endgame into the 12160 search and got 54 pages of results. Not sure why you had trouble.
