The Pristine Dimension
The life I lead inside my dreams
Devoid of liars and drama queens
Preferable to my life or so it seems
No need for help or rescue teams,
Where I make love to a loving bride
She never leaves my side
No need for deception or her to hide
Where life won't take a downward slide,
Oh Lord, was I such a terrible man?
Destined to exist on desert sand
From paradise it seems I'm banned
I stumbled upon misfortune unplanned,
Each and every night I dive
Into a nocturnal sea where I thrive
Where animals I loved are still alive
Where Mom and Dad were never deprived,
With no challenges some ask what is life?
Go ahead brother you can have the strife
Dreams provide my phantom wife
Where people don't deceive and connive,
The pristine dimension I delve in at night
Like a child tucked in safe and tight
A play ground of joy and starlight
Love awaits never leaving my sight,
In the world of dream solace I find
Instead of leaving Baby you were kind
I'm no longer rejected or maligned
No waking nightmares all seems divine,
A utopia that overwhelms the dark
Where sadness has not left its mark
A magical escape where I can embark
An asylum with no unkind remarks.
