Third mass shooting in a month leaves 3 dead at Alabama nightclub

Following a seven-hour search across rural Alabama, police arrested a man early Friday that they consider a suspect in a Thursday evening rampage that left three people dead at a nightclub in the third mass shooting in America within a month.

Police arrested 22-year-old Ryan Clark Peterson of Enterprise, AL in a wooded area around 100 miles outside of Montgomery just after 7 a.m. Friday. The authorities believe Mr. Peterson played a role in a massacre at a Dothan, AL nightclub just before midnight late Thursday. Witnesses report that Peterson was allegedly kicked out of Teaser’s nightclub on Thursday, only to retreat to his car so that he could return with a gun. Investigators then say the shooter opened fire, killing three and injuring at least four more.

ACCIDENTAL HOSPITAL DEATHS ARE HIGHER THAN ACCIDENTAL GUN DEATHS

July 26, 2000
Mr. Speaker, accidental deaths caused by doctors and hospitals in America reached 120,000 per year. Meanwhile, gun deaths have dropped 35 percent. In fact, accidental gun deaths dropped to 1,500 last year.

Think about it. We have got hospitals slicing and dicing American people like Freddie Kruger, and Congress is passing more gun laws. Beam me up. There is something wrong in America when one is 80 times more likely to be killed by a doctor than Smith & Wesson. Think about it, 80 to 1. Maybe we need a gun in surgery.

I yield back the fact that the second amendment was not written to cover just duck hunters.

That's what the Batman murders by a team of four was all about, just as the team of four that went into the Sikh Temple...this is just happy circumstance for the Anti-Gun coalition. Just always remember...

Guns don't kill people, Doctors DO!

You forgot illegal gun in hand. The gun wasn't doing anything osluma, just laying there minding it's own business. Then along comes billybob booze hound to make a mess of things. Oh, I know, according to the gov sexperts it was the guns fault.  Now we can expect the news media to jump on the anti gun thing. Ask the hill, she had Vince Foster killed, and others as well.

Ryan Clark Peterson is taken to a squad car by a Houston County Sheriffs deputy on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 in Dothan, Ala. Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes said Ryan Clark Petersen faces three counts of capital murder for the killing of employee, the club owner's son and a customer. He's charged with one count of attempted murder. Hughes said the shooting occurred shortly before midnight Thursday at Teasers in Wicksburg. It followed a dispute inside the club. Is anyone as confused by Anthony's comment as I am? I live in the South, Dothan is in the South, and this article never once mentions the word...Pub.
