The disease has been around a long time, mostly appearing in Africa, and it's called monkeypox.

Now, there is a big problem with that name because is does not adhere to those lofty WHO guidelines in naming diseases.

”WHO is working with partners and experts from around the world on changing the name of monkeypox virus, its clades and the disease it causes." WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

So it is homophobic, racist, stigmatizing, hurtful and politically incorrect to ever again use that name. Therefore, we have to get a totally new name for it. Here are some ideas.

Vaxpox, Vaccpox or Vaccinepox because the disease is an adverse side effect to the Covid-19 vaccination. No it couldn't possibly be that, and you know why.

It has to be something that does not hurt or insult the protected darling minorities. In effect it should be just the opposite. So why not pick up the most despiced majority of the human population and name it after that?

That is how we get to WHAMCEPOX.
