From years of wisdom is superseded by fear. Fear usually wins ,,but should we allow it to win? Nah,,
From what I can surmise the entire ordeal surrounding war or even the threat of war is based on the love of POWER. Power comes in a various forms, riches, wealth, royalties, which can be land, commodities or just simply cash or resources.
Most wars are over land, and land alone is not the sole reason for war. The resources and or history, or location or commodities such as Oil or prime acreage for planting certain crops these are the underlying reason for wanting such land.. nothing more,, just plain Greed and for this many lives must be sacrificed. To the victor goes the spoils of war..
Some wars are just over long disputes that never seem to be resolved.. Israeli / Palestinian also referred to as the Israeli /Arab conflict is a never ending feud basically is surrounding borders and rights of or use of water, land and who has claim to what and where. While they constantly declare peace, the disdain between the counties is on-going and does not seem to have any long term solution. Yes, many short term resolutions are constantly presented, yet conflicts are perpetually resurfacing in power struggles to control certain parts of land. Many have tried to help the countries come to some form of resolve, but so far they are all short lived and last for limited periods of time. All the while both parties have inflamed the other by a series of unjustified provocation. Both countries tend to raise and inbreed their hatred towards the other with each future generation. Israel identifies Jerusalem as its capital yet no other country will concur. So since there are Arabs living in East and West Jerusalem; Israelis are afraid that Arabs will desecrate sacred sites as well the reverse plays in as well. The Gaza strip appears to play a prime role in the dispute and is being used as a method to starve off the inhabitants so that they can lay claim to the land.
Whether it is right or wrong; is not for me to decide. From a religious perspective, only the maker has the final say. Yet the fighting between the two is costing each a constant loss of lives. Justify the fighting when the casualties are lives. Yet it appears the Israelis have the winning ticket since they have not sustained as much loss of life as the Palestinians and when you look at the numbers over the years this has been going on it appears that for each Israeli lost there are 7 Palestinians lost. Not all at the hands of the Israelis either many lost Palestinians lives were lost at the hands of their own people. Although i gather in numbers there are more Palestinians in ratio to Israelis.
So how do we justify such atrocities? The loss of life over land or power or greed. What happens when we all must stand in front of our maker and answer the creator as to why we take the life of another? When all GOOD books declare to love one another or embrace one another as thy brother or brethren. So wow, what it comes down to is those who use religion as a basis for war or conquering land or power, is in fact turning away from scripture and away from their creator. I can understand those in power who are motivated by the love of money or greed and power. But those who play into their evil clutches really need to step back and reconsider: are they doing this for the right reasons? Is it to protect their home land and or country or is it to give way to someone else's greed and power? Now this will provoke some to think I am attacking someone based on religion, to the contrary I am saying religion is being used as a tool, and should not be. Those who do not follow religion follow some form of moral code for living do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Or some such similar motto.
I would hope when I meet my maker that my hands are not tarnished with the blood of innocence for some mans insane need to obtain power. I would hope I sincerely gave serious thought to the rational for having joined in the fight and hope it was for all the right reasons. I do feel there is a time to take up arms, but not always because one in power declares it is necessary.
When my maker asks me have you taken a life with out fore thought as to why or have you done so in self defense and was it over the love of money or out of necessity to protect those you love? I can answer honestly it was in self defense to protect those I love and money or power had nothing to do with it. After all it is so easy to be led astray these days. I would hope if someone has taken a life for the wrong reasons they ask for a pardon before it is too late. Then again for those who share no religious beliefs right is right wrong is wrong and two wrongs never make it right. From the scientific logic two negatives equal a negative not a positive. Either way, war is not the right answer. There has to be another solution, back to the drawing board!

well put never submit freedom comes with a price and the price usually is life,, this is what our forefathers taught us in the civil war.. when many laid down their lives to preserve our freedoms..
The Non-Aggression Principle (NAP) or Zero-Aggression Principle (ZAP) is said to be the “one rule of libertarianism.”
It can best be described as follows: “no one shall ‘initiate or threaten to initiate physical force against others and their property.’”
If aggression (coercion / force) is initiated against you by another, who threatens you with violence, slavery or death for not complying and submitting to their ideological (socio / political/ religious) beliefs - is it wrong to resist this, by any means necessary?
Short answer - no.
If necessary - force can only be met by force.
