You went out for a hike, went camping, maybe fishing or even hunting. If you even bothered to leave word with family or friends as to when you would go and when you expected to return, you proceeded anyway. At a time when more and more reports of cougar and bear attacks indicate the menacing evidence that as society expands and more and more we are on the edge of heavily wooded areas or wilderness, mankind infringes upon the wild inevitably. What happens is a mixture of deadly confrontations between predators and the unsuspecting public, unprepared, unwary, and oblivious to rules of survival. However, there is another element of danger that few authorities are willing to discuss much less acknowledge.

David Paulides can tell you about disappearances of everyday people simply out for a good time with nature, however he can only speculate about what is happening to those never seen again. When campsites are found destroyed in the aftermath of a disappearance, all supplies violently ransacked, shreds of bloody clothing or backpacks located a considerable distance from the site, and even bloody drag marks are found, then we go to another ominous level. This is when Park Ranger officials, local police, and federal agents begin an official false narrative about the actual events that occurred. Not to mention incredibly large barefoot prints in and around the crime scene.

Steve Isdahl of the “How to Hunt” YouTube channel gives us a little insight by relating a story from an acquaintance who was fishing in northern British Columbia. The man was wading into a stream and fly casting when he heard the noise of chopper blades beating the air and the sudden descent of a hovering unmarked helicopter. A man in a dark tactical uniform was seated on the edge of the sliding side door with a long rife. Wearing sunglasses and scanning the area, he did not appear to be friendly, nor worthy of a hand wave by the fisherman, He was looking for somebody or something! It seemed his attention was focused on a target beyond where the fisherman was standing so he looked over his shoulder to see if he could identify what the rifleman was staring at. The helicopter quickly ascended into the air leaving him to wonder what these government operators were trying to find, and decided he didn’t want to run into whatever it was so he left.

Are there really cryptid hunters. Mercenaries or snipers who contract to take down these marauding threats to the public out in our national forests or natural preserves? The answer is yes! One reason is that a solitary hunter or assassin is the preferred method as opposed to a group of obviously uniformed and trained military on a mission in the forest that would alarm hikers and tourists, driving them away. So, best to assign a single specialist who knows how to collect evidence and track the predator who has been killing and terrorizing people. No, we are not talking about bears or cougars either! We are talking about bi-pedal humanoid creatures, Dogman, or other bizarre species that are unrecognized by science and filtered out of incident reports by the authorities!

What are these unknown beasts whom legends and myths have been created over by locals or small townspeople who experience some of these mysterious disappearance and horrific traces of evidence? Some of the names given to these interlopers from seemingly another dimension are the “Boarman”, the “Forest People”, “Sheepsquatch”, or “Mountain Devils”, Native Americans as well as everyday visitors have either made up these labels or have come across them for those who have experienced the ominous unknown. Are they demonic? Are they known threats to the public that the government is quietly trying to eliminate? Are they examples of genetic mutation experiments gone wrong who escaped?

Three sites that I can think of where bizarre animal lab experiments are being performed would be a US Air Force Base near Socorro New, Mexico Holloman AFB where a medical primate facility is located for studying immunology on the great apes. Another such facility is run by the US Army in the state of Maine where Bigfoot sightings have been numerous. Plum Animal Disease Center off the coast of Suffolk County in New York State where dangerous diseases that infect animals are studied to keep them from making the jump to becoming human pathogens. There have been numerous rumors of horrid genetic experiments combining different species of animals to create new mutated species. Have they been introduced into the wild or escaped accidentally? These facilities that I’ve mentioned appear to be legitimate operations but why are they cloaked in secrecy? Why have there been allegations of wrongful and disturbing experiments going on, free of any regulatory oversight?

So, you’re out for a hike, and, at first, things seem okay. You’ve decided to camp for the night and, at first, it seems like an enjoyable communion with nature. Just as it seems to happen each and every time among many other common denominators, things seem normal until the wee hours of the morning when the horror of a lurking creature that’s not supposed to exist emerges from the shadows. The crickets have gone silent. The bird calls have stopped. Not even an owl bothers to hoot. The crunch of leaves or pine needles crackles beneath the feet of an unknown animal on two feet can be alarmingly heard. Perhaps a distant wood knock echoes through the darkness. The snap of branches broken by a powerful force disrupts the night air. Now the unusual and unnatural smell of hydrogen sulfide assaults your nose!

What Park Rangers and investigators are finding that local news is being kept in the dark about are places where cluster regions of disappearances or several deaths are being reported! Campers found in a disheveled campsite who have been killed with blunt force, disfigured by sheer brute strength completely different from bear or mountain lion attacks which would leave bite marks and shredded flesh! Instead, the victims are found with broken jaws, crushed ribs, arms ripped from the torso, and broken necks. The bodies are left impossibly twisted. In one case the body of a victim had been carried up a tree left there without a bite mark or claw wounds, simply manhandled and left there as if to send a message, “Do not come here into our territory.”

Commonalities of the unfortunate victims

• Making camp in remote areas off the main hiking trails.
• Choosing rarely visited hiking trials not frequented by regular users.
• Coming unprepared for self-defense-no gun-no pepper spray,
• Not bringing a personal locator beacon device.
• Not notifying family or friends of your timely departure for your visit and when you plan to return.
• Failing to heed persistent news of disappearances, untimely deaths, or rumors by the locals of strange occurrences of historic visitations by paranormal or menacing entities.
• Failure to heed advice from law enforcement or Park Rangers of what parts of a park are not advisable to visit or camp in. They know something you don’t.
• Not consulting weather conditions that would play a role in survival.

You’d be surprised how little the victims bothered to heed the above mentioned details.
