lol, to funny.

Man we are getting hammered here with sleet, it was about an inch or more thick when I got in my truck to leave work today. People in ditches everywhere. Roads are very bad, snow plows are rollin.

Thankfully, 'Titan' missed us but for those south of me in the Chicago area and further south were not so lucky :(

The thing is... this year it has been too cold and dry here to snow most days, thus why those States below us are dealing with more snow and icy conditions because the conditions are just right.

Snow apocalypse 4.0 pretty tame, the 1st wave hammered points south of me, yet tonight + A.M. we are due for a nasty mix of snow and ice... Glad I wont be one of the commuting employees tomorrow morning.

The last time Detroiters endured such a cold and snowy winter, a leading industry in town was cigars, J.L. Hudson was preparing to open his first downtown store and the University of Michigan just recently had began playing football.

That was 1880-81 — more than 130 winters ago.

“When you combine the snow and the cold, there’s nobody alive that has experienced a winter worse,” said Rich Pollman, warning coordination meteorologist for the White Lake Township office of the National Weather Service.
