Even though I don't subscribe to any religion, there are freedom loving people that dwell in all of them. But, there is good and bad in everything.

Unfortunately, I see religion used as another tool by TPTB to divide many people and that is a shame to me :(

The word religion simply means " to bind"...Catholic means "universal"...anything can be used by TPTB to enslave or destroy...but that does not make them necessarily illegitimate. All our concepts of freedom and just governence are gifts from God given to us through his embassy on earth...The Church. Hospitals...colleges...the whole notion of the dignity of the individual came directly from the followers of Christ.

St. Ignatius of Antioch was the first to pen the word "catholic" to mean all of what Christ taught.  St. Iggy was the little boy who Christ lifted saying, "Hinder not the children to come unto me."
