At some point other countries see the US/NATO lies told to other countries are standard operating procedure, so why should they believe anything the US says or promises? Not to mention the interventions (destruction) and regime changes we have been behind to install US friendly puppets and replace the leaders the people wanted. We are seen as bullies because our govt is and that is why many countries hate us.
