"Breaking Down the False Left Right Paradigm" - Another good reason to vote NO CONFIDENCE
At the root of the political circus of the western world, at the root of our dysfunctional and corrupt electoral system is a very clever little lie that prevents the people from regaining control over the government. Once you see that lie for what it is you will never be fooled again, and you may find yourself insulted by the audacity of the proponents and maintainers of this lie. I am of course referring to the paradigm of Left vs. Right, Liberal vs. Conservative, Republican vs. Democrat.
The most effective lies have an element of truth. A little truth gives the lie a foothold in the mind and prevents the less vigilant from looking deeper. The false Left / Right Paradigm is no exception. The power elite of this country and the world over have capitalized on common points of contention among world views of the citizenry and have managed to polarize them into two political categories : Liberal and Conservative. This is not to say that these disagreements aren't real. It should be obvious that some people are fiercely for abortion while others are fiercely against it. However, what may not be so obvious is that these points of contention, these wedge issues are little more than distractions that prevent us from uniting.

The problem can't be solved by a candidate; any candidate. The problem isn't who gets elected; the problem is the system in which they operate.

Yep, I totally agree Nathan. Even a third-party candidate could not magically cure America's ills. The system needs to be completely dismantled, from the root up. And it would help if American's quit allowing themselves to be divided over trivial issues, especially belief's. In no way will things ever change when a populace is forever divided.

i agree with you...as long as we fight amongst ourselves, we are playing their game of "Divide and Conquer". Every issue, from politiCONs to religiCONS is a diversionary tactic to keep the flock in servitude/slavery to the core-rupt grubberment!

i feel the same way as the article states, without freedom we will never be able to debate things of a social nature because we will all be slaves of the new world order and perhaps this adversity will finally bring us all together, but i hope not .. If we could just see that it takes all kinds of people to make up a world or a country .. I hope we find our way without terror and pain .. they say freedom lost is lost forever i hope not because we have already lost so much and many people still want to fight about things that while they matter they will not help us keep what freedom we have left and restore what was lost before it is lost forever at least in my lifetime .. i would love to sing "America the Beautiful" or "God bless America" again and feel a sense of goodness and pride again .. fly my flag on the 4th and wear my sidearm without reprisal .. how can we stop wars, free up energy, get rid of all the unfair regulations that strangle us have real money we can keep &be rid of all income tax for the individual if we do not unite and demand that Honesty and integrity be what we want in a servant .. oh yes servant of the people, our leaders are not leaders if they do not protect & serve us the sovereign people first .. well that is a good start .. ha ha ha .. i know there is more but accountable and defenders of the weak NOT enforcers of the powerful is a good place to start .. i think we were more like this years back when we had more accountability and the people were allowed to learn ... we are denied the simple things like knowledge .. i guess because knowledge is power .. Things like 911 should never happen again and if something terrible happens again accountability and truth would be nice for a change .. well i have no answers to all the problems of the world but honesty & accountability and a free press were things we used to have .. we will have them again if we just read the directions .. "The original document has all we need to know .. well i tend to go on and on .. i hope there are some who agree with me to some degree, seems like a good place to start ~~peace ~~
