I have recorded every second of the opening of the 30th. Olympics in London. Its on a DVD, and already copied to my faithful Laptop for... and I am wondering if I should even bother to try to upload it to YouTube.  Its long and I will have to break it into 3 three 1 hour parts.

Any advice would be appreciated.

       Its ok, I know I am going to die at the hands of a human in the next hour or so, That's what humans do. Kill. Why, why they even kill other humans for.... well lets not talk about that... I'll just wait her for the end.

I was going to watch the video that DTOM posted on this discussion but..alas,, sob sob,, all I got to see was this.. see image below...

Boy am I glad I taped the whole show on a VTR from the TV and copied it to a DVD and onto my Laptop for FUTURE USE, thats if they don't come and order me to destroy all copies before I find out how to upload it to YouTube.com.  While I still can.... I would show you a few nice screenshots from the opening but I don;t want to waste a good thing until I read a few more comments about the....Opening????? whetever.

Lawrence, I was just going to reply to you with my concern that the IOC will trample down on anyone posting ANY unlicensed footage.

Can anyone think of any occasion in history, where there has been this level of controlfreak behaviour has been exercised?

If I were you I would burn all the footage to DVD and make copies

He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future.

You never know when that footage may be useful.

DTOM, I already have but I think I'll make a few more copies. of the DVD and maybe the VCR tapes too.

Thanks for your advice. At work tonight I will listen to the Spaceman on WWW.640Toronto.com at 8Pm to see, ,,hear what he has to say about the opening.

"you know" is a term that many,,, uneducated people use, sometimes many time is an interview for TV or radio, Its not there fault, the Fluride in the water does it... you know,,. by dumbing them down by,,, you know,,, reducing their IQ,  well ,,,you know...ha ha
