Indefinite detention amendment to be voted on 11/29

The Senate will debate and possibly vote on Thursday, 11/29, on Senator Feinstein's amendment that would prohibit indefinite detention of US citizens and permanent lawful residents.

The amendment applies to US citizens and lawful permanent residents only. Feinstein said she supports applying it to all persons but there is not enough support to get that passed.
