why would they want to disperse the oil? Seems to me that if they left it as one big puddle it would be alot easier to clean up. Now it's becoming dissolved in the water. Same problem that comes w/ frakking a gas well. The gas (in this case oil and gas) becomes dissolved in the water and cannot be removed unless the water is filtered, and that isn't 100% ,plus the filter systems get destroyed and need replaced quickly. They're just making it worse.

This whole "spill" is just a horrible mess. There would be more action if a small truck load of heating oil were spilled on the road. A major company devestates the gulf and it takes ........ oh they're still working on stopping it let alone cleaning it up.

I saw last nite that they are blaming environmentalist for the need to have such deep water rigs in the first place. If not for those nagging enviros they could put the rig right on shore and all would be fine......

what is going on ?
Did they stop the top kill ? last i knew, BP put the brakes on the top kill , they said it wasn't working.
