In " Nature's Pharmacy (Pondoland Wild Coast)", Sinegugu Zukulu is a resident of the Pondoland Wild Coast, as well as a teacher, a traditionalist, and a conservation activist. He is a leader spearheading the fight against unsustainable forms of development. "CareTakers" is a documentary film project about South Africa's rich natural heritage, and the dedicated people who care for it. In the face of overwhelming biodiversity loss, habitat degradation, and human-induced climate change, there is a pressing need for clear calls to effective action. These films are intended to educate, advocate and inspire people to become active parts of the solution. The project has been launched with a series of eight short films that profile some inspiring South Africans working to protect our natural resources. Imagine how close humans are to losing the knowledge of medicinal plants that it took eons to learn. It's good to see that some are aware that the old ways are better than what Big Pharma has to offer.
