(KMOX)- Two officers who once patrolled the streets of Ferguson are out of jobs.
One was fired and the other resigned.
Glendale Officer Matthew Pappert who posted comments about protestors on Facebook has been fired. Pappert had posted that protestors were a burden on society and a blight on the community and should have been “put down like rabid dogs the first night.”
Pappert later apologized for his comments through his attorney.
Meanwhile, a St. Ann police officer shown on video pointing his rifle at demonstrators in Ferguson and threatening them has resigned.
Lt. Ray Albers, a 20-year veteran with St. Ann, had urine thrown on him and heard gun shots. That’s when he raised his weapon. A crowd came toward him with cameras, when he reportedly cursed them.
