Sydney Morning Herald Editor Carolyn Cummins is reporting that a lawsuit by one of Israel's richest men, billionaire mining magnate Beny Steinmetz, alleges that Barack Obama was involved in a global campaign of fraud, defamation, and bribery by George Soros and Open Society Foundations over control of billions of dollars of mineral rights in Guinea. http://archive.is/LO1j3

According to Cummins, the lawsuit alleges that:

...Soros got one Barack Obama to meet with the Guinean President Alpha Conde and not long afterwards an investigation was launched that led to BSG losing its licence.

The lawsuit was filed Friday by Steinmetz's BSG Resources Limited (BSGR). Bloomberg and Reuters reported on the lawsuit but made no mention of Obama.

The case is BSG Resources (Guinea) Limited et al v. Soros et al. Case number is 1:17-cv-02726.

According to media reports the complaint includes "Exhibit A - George Soros's Illegal Enterprise" and labels Soros a "racketeer billionaire".

The complaint alleges that "Soros’s financial clout gave him power over Guinea’s processes of government, which he then thoroughly abused"

The claims by the Israeli diamond tycoon were made as part of a legal action where Mr Steinmetz is suing George Soros for $US10 billion ($13.2bn), alleging that the hedge fund billionaire orchestrated a global campaign of defamation and fraud to strip him of mining rights in Guinea, west Africa.

In the filing, Mr Steinmetz claims a Soros-funded network of lawyers, officials and pressure groups mounted a campaign to strip his company of the asset after it refused to pay bribes to Guinea’s government — which had been publicly backed by the Hungarian-American financier.

I'm running out of time so I'll try to make this quick. The Simandou mountain range in Guinea has one of the world's largest deposits of high grade iron ore, said to be worth over $50 billion. BSGR was awarded mining rights. The old president of Guinea died and a Soros-backed Marxist (Alpha Conde) became the new president. According to media reports, the lawsuit alleges that a British-Australian multinational paid a $10.5 million bribe to the new president to strip BSGR of the mining rights under the pretext, ironically, that BSGR had paid a bribe to the old president, and that Soros, the Open Society Foundations, "and their agents were directly involved". Soros and his people allegedly bribed witnesses and fabricated documents to support the corruption allegations made by his network of NGOs.

During the 2012 elections, Soros donated $1.5 million to Obama's super PAC. A few months later, Soros visited the White House for the first time, meeting with Biden for over an hour. The Obama administration went after Steinmetz and BSGR. Preet Bharara was involved. Soros meets with the British-Australian multinational. Obama meets with Conde. Conde strips BSGR of the mining rights.
