Subscribers of Dish Network are currently without the Fox News Channel and the Fox Business Network due to a contract dispute. Such blackouts are becoming par for the course for the television provider.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Dish and 21st Century Fox, the parent company of the two blocked news channels, were not able to come to terms on a new distribution package. Dish accused Fox of using the contract talks as leverage to increase fees for sports and entertainment channels not part of the Fox News and Fox Business agreements.
