Hillary Clinton's fundraising spree isn't letting up — her campaign is now pushing its top raisers to bring in over $100 million over the final 62 days of the election.
Just days after announcing a record haul of over $140 million between the campaign and two related committees in August alone, the Brooklyn-based team told members of its finance council on a conference call that it needs $100 million more from them — aside from the small-dollar, online donations — to defeat Donald Trump, according to individuals on the call.
The new goal was unveiled — and repeated multiple times — on a roughly 55-minute private conference call on Tuesday morning with campaign manager Robby Mook, campaign vice-chair Huma Abedin, and finance chief Dennis Cheng. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/clinton-campaign-requests-100-million-227779
