Ynet Wednesday Iranian President Hassan Rohani gave an interview to CNN and was widely quoted as saying that he accepts that during the Holocaust the Nazi perpetrated a mass murder of Jews.

However, a number of hours later, the official Iranian news agency FARS claimed that the Iranian president's quotes were mistranslated. The agency claimed that Rohani never said that there was a Jewish Holocaust.
