Infowars reporters Paul Joseph Watson and Richard Reeves confronted Bilderberg’s security team at the Grove Hotel in Watford, site of this week’s secretive elitist confab, demanding to know why their reservations had been cancelled in apparent violation of UK law.
Reeves had booked a number of rooms for Alex Jones and other Infowars reporters under his own name. Watson had also booked a room under his name. The reservations all expired the day before the start of the Bilderberg meeting and did not clash with the conference.
On Saturday, Watson and Reeves both received calls informing them that the reservations had been canceled “after consultation with the security services” in relation to the Bilderberg Group conference at the end of the week.
Despite security claiming that the hotel is private property and as such can refuse accommodation to anyone it chooses without a legitimate reason, the law appears to say something different.
The hotel’s action in discriminating against individuals for their political beliefs is a violation of the 2010 Equality Act. Previous cases under the same law brought by those discriminated against by guest houses due to their sexuality have been successful. A 2012 European Court of Human Rights judgment affirms the fact that discrimination against an individual due to their political beliefs is unlawful under the Equality Act.
As the video above illustrates, within 2 minutes of Reeves and Watson asking for documentation of why their reservations had been canceled, two security guards approached and refused to answer any questions, asking the reporters to turn off their cameras. The men said they were “not at liberty to discuss” whether any laws had been broken or why the rooms had been canceled.
The reporters were then told to wait in reception but were not given a reason for doing so. After around 15 minutes, two police cars pulled up outside the entrance to the Grove hotel and police officers exited the vehicles but did not at any point become involved in the incident.
It is unclear whether the police were called as a mere intimidation tactic or that they were visiting the Grove for a different reason, but their presence was certainly noted by Reeves and Watson.
A subsequent audio recording features the security team admitting that Reeves and Watson were not a “security threat,” but they still refused to provide a reason as to why the reservations had been canceled. Eventually, the security team agreed to email the reporters a document confirming the cancellation of the rooms.
When Reeves asked if he could eat at one of the Grove’s three restaurants, he was told they were all full, which is highly unlikely for a Sunday evening. This denial of service could represent another case of discrimination based on political beliefs.
The two reporters were then escorted off the property as they drove away.
The fact that the Grove is potentially acting illegally in discriminating against individuals based on their political beliefs on the orders of the Bilderberg Group is another startling reminder that the clandestine organization operates outside of the law.
Senior Watford politician Mark Watkin today attacked the Bilderberg security operation being run out of the Grove as, “Shambolic, unforgivable, disgraceful,” adding that Grove management had completely failed to engage with the local community throughout the process.
With British taxpayers being forced to foot the bill for security costs which run into the millions, several British MP’s are also violating part four of theHouse of Commons Code of Conduct by refusing to declare their private interests in the context of Bilderberg.
Visiting politicians from the United States are also in violation of the Logan Act, which forbids private correspondence with foreign governments and carries a punishment of up to three years in prison.
