Topless protesters 'kidnapped, stripped' by KGB
A Ukrainian feminist group which specialises in topless protests in public says three activists were seized by police in Belarus, forced to strip, threatened with violence, and then abandoned naked in woodland.

The Kiev-based group said the three were seized by police in the Belarussian capital Minsk on Monday after staging a bare-breasted protest on the steps of the KGB state security headquarters, mocking authoritarian president Alexander Lukashenko.

"They were blindfolded and driven all night in a bus. They were taken into a wood. Oil was poured on them. They were forced to strip and were threatened with being set on fire," a statement by the group said.

"They were threatened with a knife which was later used to cut their hair," it added.

The women were later abandoned naked in woodlands without their identity papers, the group said, appealing for help in tracing them.

KGB offices in Minsk refused to comment.

One of the FEMEN avtivists, Inna Shevchenko, who dissapeared yesterday in Belarus managed to got in touch with us. Inna said that yesterday at 19:00 at the train station of Minsk she and two other activists were seized by KGB. They blindfolded them and kept them all night in the bus driving around, then brought in the woods, doused with oil, made to undress and threatened to set them on fire, then threatened with a knife and later cut girls hair with that knife. KGB filmed everything what was happenning.Then they threw them out naked into the woods with no documents. Activists got out of the woods and came walked to the village of Becky, Yelsky District, Gomel Region. We appeal to anyone who can help to pick up and hide the activists before the arrival of workers of the Ukrainian Embassy in Belarus.

Girls were taken to the forest, poured oil and threatened to burn!

Spokesman of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Alexander Dikusar: "We have no information about their detention. Ukrainian diplomats in Minsk in constant contact with the competent authorities of Belarus to get information."

While FEMEN are used to being arrested, in Ukraine they are usually just booked and released. Following a protest in Minsk, Belarus, however, shit appears to have gotten serious. They previously reported that Australian journalist Kitty Green, who was along to document their latest protest, had been detained by police. Now it seems that the protesters themselves — including well-known spokesperson Inna Shevchenko — have also been rounded up.

We still do not know where the FEMEN activists, lost yesterday in Minsk. Yesterday the FEMEN held a rally to support of the Belorussian people at the entrance to the building of the Belorussian KGB. Inna Shevchenko, Oksana Shachko and Alexandra Nemchinova managed to escape from the place of the protest, but journalists were detained , including FEMEN's cameraman Kitty Green.
Chief of the Information Center of KGB Alexander Antonovich described the situation "a carefully planned crude provocation".
Kitty Green called late at night from Vilnius, where she was deported by the KGB. Its release was made possible only through the intervention of the Australian Embassy in Moscow. Kitty said that she was interrogated and intimidated. All video and photo materials were confiscated.

We still don't know where are the rest of the protestersю The last time we're talking with the girls in 18:09 on Dec. 19. The girls tried to leave Minsk. After about 40 minutes to their phones were silent.

Everything indicates that it is now, Inna, Sasha and Oksana are in the clutches of "legendary" the Belarusian KGB, responsible for repression, death and missing of people.
