Chris is Right with his strawman stance. - in the realm of finance it Is a game of numbers, I'm not fully conversant in that area yet. However, in the realm of employment It is a game of Words and I have knowledge there. Green pastures for those about to loose it. eg I saved a workers job this month on his third and final written warning, just from words ( which cancelled out the result of his bad actions ) He had stormed out of work in a huff and left everyone else to finish the job. His letter went like this.... On 03.07.2019 you once again signed off work prior to completing the duties required. You caused others unnecessary stress and overtime..... To save a long story, what is "signed off" ? - It means "Point of Acquittal" what is that ? In common law it means free from the charge of offence, - so the worker could not be fired by this letter because he could not be held accountable for what happened After he had Left the work place. (so to the boss -suck eggs, If you are a boss be careful how you word things) To the boss I put it as a lack of management on Their part.

Respectfully I don't agree, James. I do it all the time. They fear exposure and these days with computers we can open all pandora's boxes. As always, it's a numbers game.

Right. There was a court case in the US where the bank admitted that it offered nothing of value in the mortgage agreement, and the judge went with the truth. The contract was ruled invalid, but they did some court thing so the case couldn't be cited in future cases, and the judge died mysteriously soon after. As someone else on this site quoted recently, "All power comes out of the end of a gun." We'll never out-talk or out-write them.
