CNN Fires Marc Lamont Hill Over Israel Comments- called for “a free Palestine from the river to the sea.”
CNN on Thursday severed ties with contributor Marc Lamont Hill over his comments about Israel during a United Nations speech. “We have an opportunity to not just offer solidarity in words but to commit to political action, grass-roots action, local action and international action that will give us what justice requires and that is a free Palestine from the river to the sea,” Hill said, with the last nine words provoking widespread outrage. “Marc Lamont Hill is no longer under contract with CNN,” a network spokesperson confirmed to Mediaite. https://www.thedailybeast.com/cnn-fires-marc-lamont-hill-over-israe...
