The Tsarnaev narrative now emerging has Tamerlan visiting what is described as a radical mosque on Kotrova Street in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan.

Simon Schuster, writing for Time, reports that a source close to the Russian security services specializing in religious radicalism claims the older Tsarnaev attended services at the mosque. Tsarnaev was monitored by Russian counterterrorism forces during his six-month stay in the country. He was not observed making contact with radical Salafist leaders by Russian intelligence.

Corporate media covers for FBI and weaves expanded war on terror narrative.

“There wasn’t enough time [in 2011] to come to any conclusions about the extent of his involvement [in Islamist extremism],” the source told Time. “So we asked our American colleagues to follow up.”

The information follows a statement issued on April 19 by the FBI stating that an unidentified “foreign government” said Tsarnaev was “a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer, and that he had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared … to join unspecified underground groups.” The FBI said it interviewed Tsarnaev and concluded it “did not find any terrorism activity, domestic or foreign.”

Despite a lack of verifiable information that Tsarnaev was radicalized in Dagestan, the new information will be used by the corporate media in the West to portray him as a Muslim terrorist.

Meanwhile, in the United States, Congress is gearing up for a new Muslim inquisition. Rep. Peter King of New York is at the forefront of the renewed effort. Earlier this week, King called for greater law enforcement focus on Muslim communities, arguing that authorities should ignore what is deemed “politically correct” and admit America faces dire threats from Islamic terrorism.

Militant Salafism in Dagestan: Imported by the CIA

Radical Salafism, a derivation of an older Wahhabism, is a Saudi product. It is not native to Dagestan, as F. William Engdahl notes. “The existence of the so-called jihadist Salafi brand of Islam in Dagestan is quite recent. It has also been deliberately imported,” he writes.

Wahhabism has mutated since it was promoted by the British early in the last century to maintain control over oil-rich Saudi Arabia. “Little known is the fact that the present form of aggressive Saudi Wahhabism, in reality a kind of fusion between imported jihadi Salafists from Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood and the fundamentalist Saudi Wahhabites,” Engdahl explains.

Leading Salafist members of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood were introduced into the Saudi Kingdom in the 1950’s by the CIA in a complex series of events, when Nasser cracked down on the Muslim Brotherhood following an assassination attempt. By the 1960’s an influx of Egyptian members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Saudi Arabia fleeing Nasserite repression, had filled many of the leading teaching posts in Saudi religious schools. One student there was a young well-to-do Saudi, Osama bin Laden.

The CIA is using the Salafist Muslim Brotherhood to change the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East under the banner of a so-called “Arab Spring,” that is to say a color revolution designed to consolidate the grip of the globalists in the region and, as former National Security Advisor and Rockefeller operative Zbigniew Brzezinski said, “to prevent collusion and maintain security dependence among the vassals, to keep tributaries pliant and protected, and to keep the barbarians from coming together.”

Order out of chaos, from Libya to Syria, is a speciality of the CIA’s Salafist network, a product exported from the bloody battlefields of Afghanistan in the 1980s and micromanaged by the CIA, Pakistan’s ISI, with plenty of money from Saudi Arabia.

In addition to balkanizing and fomenting religious and sectarian violence in the Middle East, Engdahl describes a similar or concurrent project under way to destabilize the Russian Federation. “The deliberate detonation now of a new round of Salafist fundamentalist Jihad terror inside Muslim regions of the Russian Caucasus is exquisitely timed politically to put maximum pressure at home on the government of Russia’s Vladimir Putin,” he writes.

Despite hedging by the FBI and a cautious story by key Mockingbird media asset Time saying Tamerlan Tsarnaev may or may not have been in contact with militant Salafists in Dagestan, the corporate media is running with the one dimensional radicalization plot line.

CNN colorizes the Tsarnaev jihadist storyline.

“According to an intelligence source, Russia remained convinced that Tamerlan, an ethnic Chechen, was in ‘direct contact’ with Islamist militants, most likely based in the strife-torn southern Russian region of Dagestan, where he lived for two years with his family prior to moving to the US,” the Daily Mail reported. “One theory is that Tamerlan and Dzhokhar, who was in thrall to his older brother, may have been ‘inspired’ by a rebel leader known as Russia’s Bin Laden.”

As we noted, citing research conducted by Eric Draitser and others, the Daily Mail omitted a few pertinent details – namely that Doku Umarov, like his supposed mentor Osama bin Laden, works in the interest of U.S. intelligence and the State Department.

Umarov’s Kavkaz Center was funded by the State Department and several supporting fronts including the National Endowment for Democracy-funded Russian-Chechen Friendship Society. In short, it functions as a color revolution front group, color revolution being a specialty of NED under the auspices of the CIA. (“A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA,” Allen Weinstein, who helped draft legislation establishing NED, proudly stated in 1991.)

A False Flag Leading Up to a War on Islam

The Boston terror attack was orchestrated for two reasons – first, as a poignant reminder to the American people that Islamic terrorism remains a threat, especially in the homeland, and secondly to prepare the American people for unending conflict in the Middle East, Central Asia, and more recently in Africa.

During Obama’s second term, this conflict will intensify and there may be more false flag terror attacks, likely with a more horrendous outcome, that will be blamed on homegrown Salafist terrorists radicalized abroad. Congress and the federal government will introduce and enact a raft of new anti-terror legislation further eroding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights (CISPA serves as an omen). The police and surveillance state will continue its tyrannical expansion at breakneck speed. The establishment media will hysterically reference the Boston attack ad nauseam (as it did previously with 9/11).

The neocon faction, the warhead alliance of Trotskyite “conservatives,” has long planned for a global war against Islam, a clash of civilizations designed to foment a conflict with apocalyptic dimension. The PNAC cabal, now regrouped and slightly refashioned, has not abandoned the effort to eliminate Israel’s regional enemies, a goal shared by the global bankster elite as it continues to work toward world government, popularly known as “global governance,” a master plan that requires worldwide poverty enforced by a high-tech control system. Only world war and the acquiescence of the American people will make this possible.
