(NaturalNews) If you think you are making a healthier option because you chose to have diet soda over a regular soda drink, its time to think again. Crafty advertising may have given the term “sugar free” an impression of healthy alternative, but the truth of the matter is that chemical sweeteners are far from healthy.

Despite the dismissive stand of aspartame producers that aspartame is safe for human consumption, various studies over the years have shown that aspartame is actually linked to headaches, migraines, dizziness, tumors and even cancer. The U.S. FDA made public 92 symptoms attributed to aspartame from submitted complaints. Despite its questionable effect, aspartame was approved for use in 1981 and still continues to be so today. Ironically, aspartame was never tested in humans before its approval. Its use in over 6,000 products and by 250 million people has made the public its unwitting guinea pig in a grand experiment 40 years in the making.

Key to health: Low-Sugar, not sugar-free

Stocking up on diet foods is the best way to gain weight. Latest research on aspartame has revealed that it actually increases the risk of weight gain. Being 200 times sweeter than sugar, aspartame appears to be the perfect answer to dieting since it contains only a few calories while still having the sweet taste of sugar. Unfortunately, phenylalanine and aspartic acid, major components of aspartame, trigger the release of insulin and leptins. The latter are hormones that stimulate storage of body fat.

Moreover, large doses of phenylalanine lower serotonin levels and lead to food cravings. Since both real and artificial sweeteners stimulate the taste buds, they affect the same taste and pleasure pathways in the brain. Artificial sweeteners, however, merely activate but do not satiate the pleasure-related region of the brain, proving to be an inferior system in preventing sugar cravings. In the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine, researcher Qing Yang – a faculty at the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology – published findings that revealed artificial sweeteners more likely to cause weight gain than weight loss.

This is over and above the fact that aspartame is also highly addictive. The phenylalanine and methanol components increase the dopamine levels in the brain and cause a certain high. This further creates an addiction that is only made worse by the release of methyl alcohol or methanol, which is considered a narcotic. Keeping this in mind, it’s time we reconsider the “health benefits” aspartame is supposed to give.

The above mentioned popular products are just a few of many that contain aspartame. Despite the rising reports of aspartame’s toxicity, a re-investigation by the FDA as well as of key regulatory bodies worldwide doesn’t seem to be coming anytime soon. We can only protect ourselves by making a conscious choice to check the label of every product we buy at the grocery store.

If you have complaints regarding aspartame, don’t be shy in making your complaint known. The last thing you want to be is a face in a crowd lining up before a government office that doesn’t have your interest at heart.

By the way, K, call one of those local numbers and see how many Chemtrails they see over there farms everyday, and if they haven't hung up on you by then, please ask what other feed sources they use in winter. If cattle grain, the it is most likely gluten laden bone meal from Tyson's hormone fed chickens. Once the food chain is poisoned, then it most likely still poisoned in one way or another. Hell, most people don't even know that JELLO is made from Cattle and Chicken Bone meal from the big three slaughterhouse companies.

Ahhhhh, the InfoWarrior shows his colors. It is true that free range farms sites are all over the web, but I have never seen HFCS as being an ingredient. Although even free range beef is eating all of the jet-propelled fuels that settle on the grass and of course even harse aluminum from chemtrails. There is no way to escape it, unless you grow all things in a vacuum. Hint: They don't do very well. Either your body adapts, or it doesn't. Humanity is a very hearty breed and has actually acclimated to many environmental calamities.

Unles we can stop all air traffic, (yeah right), and stop fracking, ( yo, roight again mate), and stop strip farming and using fertilizers like candy and allow true hearty breeds of plants and animals to thrive again.....then you have to adapt or die.

 

Now, sodas can be avoided, but unless whatever you drink is filtered, boiled, sometimes bleached, then made into a foul tea......good luck. Actually the most healthful water on earth is artesian, but care must be taken there as well to filter due to the sulpher and manganese. Actually Plantain Leafs found growing on most sidewalks can be dried and make an excellent tea, and is the best cure for colds and the respiratory system. Just make a ticture of boiled plantain roots and leaves and mix with 90-100 proof alcohol (Vwodka is best, comerade) and three drops a day will make you feel as a new person for it's many antioxidental properties and valuable dieuretic waste disposal.

As for myself, I train my body to accept small amounts of these poisons to acclimate my immune system to them, but mostly use a water distiller and add minerals for taste and palletability. You must do either in small portions because too much of even a good thing can have horrible consequences. Take it slow, and nature takes care of itself and the human body is the most adaptable of mammal species.

I won't eat it unless I've read the label. It's tough sometimes finding a tasty, healthy cereal for example. I don't drink soda, no HFCS products, I cook all my meals; don't even own a microwave. Eat meat sparingly and what I do eat is free range with phone numbers on the packages of local farms.

We have to keep screaming our heads off about this chemical and others like floride until we are heard..  The chem trails too .. food / water / and air ...   what the hell is the EPA & the FDA do anyway?  Besides screw everyday people and mess with people who take vitamins.. food & drugs administration .,,.. really??  enviormentaL "PROTECTION agency .. again REALLY??

I think Coca cola is spiking their regular cola with aspartame. it Tastes like shit now that they "have fewer calories . " I quit sodas all together anyway
