And dream the American Dream
The powers that be are robbing you blind
Things are not what they seem

So ignorant in your bliss
The powers that be are screwing you
Without so much as a kiss
Wake up America, you slumbering fools
Take notice and see the light
The powers that be enslave you
Without much of a fight
Wake up America, to this alarm
And spread the truth to all
The powers that be have you fooled
