Citigroup PB Amy Elliot testified under oath, after she was caught laundering more than $100 million for drug lord Raul Salinas, "everybody was on board on this...I mean, this goes in the very, very top of the corporation, Okay? On the very top." When pressed further, Ms. Elliot implied that the Citigroup Chairman and Vice President knew and approved of the drug laundering. So if you think HSBC's executives didn't know they were laundering massive amounts of money for drug lords when recently caught, you have to be the most naive of the naive.
