remember on night 3, I was out of smokes, and was gonna walk down to the neighborhood Chang's store..It was just getting dark, I was living in Venice Beach on Pacific. I no sooner hit the sidewalk, there was a fully packed army guy walking toward me. "Where ya going?" he asked? I replied, "Store, outta nicotine" He grinned and said, "Not today sir, LA's closed tonight, I'd advise going back to your house".
"CLOSED??...really...LA??" I started to LMAO, then I added as he walked away, "Hey you got a cigarette?"
He just yelled back, "Nope, don't smoke"
Other memory was climbing up in the Hw00d Hills up by "the Sign" w/ friends and sitting in the trees, smoking joints, doing "Night Train" wine, and watching LA burn. We would count all the fires over and over because ya lost count. You could see fires as far down as Orange County almost. Looked like Armageddon!!
