The too many People who are creating this mess on this planet are the psychopaths that have matriculated to the top of the money/power heap.  We are not "using too much energy."  We are using the wrong KIND of energy so that They can stay in power and get rich(er).

  Fun stuff. At about 7pm, back in October, 1988 in the center of Seattle, Wa. after stepping outside to go up the street to slam a dozen beers or so and get some hunting in, I looked up to see 9 harvest moon orange perfectly oval 2-dimension shapes travelling SE to NW..... At first I thought it was the Goodyear blimp running a video game show on the screen. NO. The blimp would have to be less than 2,000 feet up and I did not hear nor see the blimp. Just the images. Just then, four shapes broke formation and did that fast spinning in a circle that the old Phoenix video game and Space Invaders used to do. I the figured that the Air Force was messing with peoples'  heads again. The shapes coasted behind a tall evergreen and by the time I could run around to catch sight again, they were gone. I ran up the street to tell my friends, but soon realized how stupid I sounded.

  A week later, an old high school friend showed up at the bar wearing a jacket covered in Star Trek medals. I had not seen him in 15 years.  He had been a very good cartoonist and his father a high ranking military officer. The prank we did as high schoolers with an old coffin our parents wanted us to get rid of is another story. After slamming a few pitchers of beer, I mentioned the UFOs. "SHH...That was us." A promo for the year's 'Star Trek' convention courtesy Boeing aircraft and the U.S.A.F.. We ended up going down to the Boeing plant to a low security facility after checking with the guard to get me a tour.

  Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Blue Beam may or may not happen. It could be another dinosaur, tossed in the scrap heap like that room full of obsolete Boeing aircraft ideas that flopped or just became dated and inefficient. But maybe they will really do it. Too many people are using too much energy and destroying the environment. Old growth forest, entire ocean wide fish habitats, as well as accumulating pollution are taking their toll. Too many people will not listen to hard cold facts or even listen to the good news. They demand the right to act irresponsibly and arrogant and leave the solution up to the Gods, or God.They consider themselves breeders, and I beg to differ. Only 2. Only 2. For everybody.

   This is part of the reason for my using the pin-head cat-rabbit persona. I don't have a solution. I tried to stop construction of the Trojan nuclear plant back in 1975, after working there, for obvious reasons. They finally deactivated it and blew the cooling tower before more damage could be done with it.

    Too many people wear ignorance like a crown. The carrying of tradition through the millenia never anticipated the earth being overrun by an organism so destructive and blind to its own folly. Now what?
