I'm with you Nikki!  I had a passing thought to pick some up a few months ago and couldn't find a source, then on Monday a catalog I subscribe to sent an "only 500 left" email.  Thankfully I was one of the last few to pick it up!

Tifani, I'm glad you were able to pick up some up potassium iodide. Let's hope we don't have to use much of it.  And don't forget your pets, they have thyroid glands too!!!

Niki, I heard that spikes of radiation hit the west coast today with more on the way. I took my second dose today. The gov will not warn us and I am not taking a chance. I guess this type of decision is a personal one. I don't know if I made the right choice or not, but if i'm wrong, i'll just have to live with it.

I bought my potassium Iodide years ago.

Vincent, unfortunately mine is still in the mail.  There can be side effects esp for people who are either hyper or hypo thyroid or those who are allergic to iodine, so be careful.
