Just so many things going on. In family and in my State Police family we have been dealing with, what seems like, more departures than I can remember.
I was sitting at a fixed post today and I was reading a book and I came across a passage that really hit me and I thought you might find it interesting.
"Because God is never cruel, there is a reason for all things. We must know the pain of loss; because if we never knew it, we would have no compassion for others, and we would become monsters of self regard, creatures of unalloyed self-intrest.
