Absolutely enormous crowd hit the street in Oakland in support of Oakland. They took over a highway; there's got to be a good 100,000 people there.

@Tactical Edge Not sure, but NATO hasn't been getting any pressure.
They're not electable officials of course. And they do have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, especially with regard to the US.Do you know what it will cost if the TV market in the states collapses? Huh?
And even if they were, and even if they didn't, who put pressure on 'em the last decades? Already deeply intimidated and burned out people from behind their TV sets? People with a political commitment of picking their noses during the news?

Where is NATO at? They should be air-striking Obama and Congress as we speak.
There weren't this many protestors in Libya and we went in there and killed their president (Who, by the way, was loved by the majority of his people).
This is going on right now in every major city in America so where is our outpouring of support from the rest of the world?
It just goes to show that if you protest in an oil producing country things get done.....Protest in the land of the free and the media ignores you while the police kick your ass.
