Some people may take at offense at my constant buffoonery and sarcastic attitude. If this is you, one question...WHY SO SERIOUS???

Sure, our liberties are being steamrolled by a tyrannical police state, our children are being lobotomized by the public re-education system, our skies and waterways, not to mention our food and gene pools, constantly contaminated with toxins and carcinogenics, our monetary system a multi-trillion dollar ponzi scheme. We are constantly bombarded with lies and more lies, brain affecting frequencies fill our airways, graft and corruption the order of the day in nearly all areas of the public service bureaucracy, abuse or power and authority by a militarized/federalized, peaceful protest met with unnecessary and ever more frequently, lethal force. The continued atrocities are endless, the darkness in the souls of those atop the metaphorical pyramid seemingly get their power directly from whatever demonic master of the underworld your dogma presents as a bogie man. We pump up our chest in bravado, speak our mind, take to the streets and time after time we are ignored, ridiculed, corralled, tased, beaten, incarcerated, killed....etc, etc.. The future appears bleak and there is but a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

So again I ask...WHY SO SERIOUS?

In my case, I choose to heed the advice of one of the main things that have stuck out in my mind from all that Bible study I did over the years...This is the day that the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Somewhere in the O.T., book of Psalms I believe). Now, I am not a religious man but these words do hold wisdom for me. And this is how I tend to live my life, along with the golden rule.

Thus I rejoice and enjoy everyday, I laugh, not because I find joy in the happenings of this messed up race called Humanity, I laugh because I find the extreme irony of existence to be painfully hilarious.

Example: You have probably all seen a video where a man get a shot in the nads...MOST OF YOU LAUGHED...many guys cringe and actually feel sympathy pains...how many of you guys laugh and cringe at the same time????

So while I may crack jokes, use sarcasm and irony in futile attempts at humorous discourse, or just laugh my ass of at something that tickles my funny bone...rest assured, I am also cringing like it was I who had received the shot to the nads.

BTW: Laughing at the woes of the world is not my intent but you must realize something...most of the things that make us laugh...are usually at the expense of someone else.

I have said for a long time....the only time to take me seriously is when I am being serious.

So, WHY SO SERIOUS?
