Chicago Mayor Targets TD Over Services To Smith & Wesson

Toronto-Dominion Bank is facing criticism from Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel over the bank’s dealings with a major gun manufacturer, amid the debate over reforming firearms laws in the United States.
In a letter sent to the head of TD’s U.S. operations this week, the Chicago Mayor urged the bank to stop providing financial services to Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. until the gun maker co-operates on gun reforms. TD provides a $60-million (U.S.) line of credit to Smith & Wesson, according to Mr. Emanuel’s office.

I know that someone else has posted this here before - I could not remember who it was, and I having to tough of a time trying to find it - I gave up and went with the YouTube (direct) version - its easier to find stuff there, due to the more logical search parameters.

I posted a similar story in guns and tactics and no need for giving any kind of credit. You have much more info in your post and I believe this is an important story to get out there.
I tell ya one thing... Rahm Emanuel is one evil looking SOB. He has the coldest looking eyes. And what man would say such a thing, "never let a good crisis go to waste?" It is so telling. And let us not forget his duel citizenship and where his true loyalty lies.

Wow - what a very interesting blog - I have not seen it before - thanks for posting it.
I noticed that no mention was made about his dual citizenship, and I believe that is because, its just spin, to try and create more "conspiracy theorists", only to tar and feather them.
"Some charged that Emanuel was an Israeli citizen or a dual U.S.-Israeli national (he is neither, he was born in Chicago in 1959); or, they alleged that he served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), losing his finger confronting a Syrian tank during the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon (he did not serve in the IDF, and lost his finger in a freak accident while working as a teenager in an Arby's restaurant). A few accused Emanuel of skipping U.S. military service to join the IDF in 1991 (also not true -- in the midst of the 1991 Gulf War, while U.S. forces were manning Patriot missile batteries in Israel and the Arab Gulf, Emanuel volunteered for a few weeks, as a civilian, doing maintenance on Israeli vehicles). The most recent story alleges that Rahm Emanuel was fired from the White House in 1998 after being implicated by the FBI, together with Monica Lewinsky, in a Mossad plot to spy on then-President Clinton (a total fabrication, compliments of a shady character who claims to have been a U.S. intelligence official and is a purveyor of many bizarre tales)."
