I just wanted to point out, as someone who sees both sides pretty clearly, that both sides are acting like asses. I think both sides can represent their views better.

It's very difficult to remain calm and have a reasoned debate when the other party is acting the part of a deranged loon.

I can't count how many debates I've won by not saying a word and allowing the other side to carry on their own misguided path for the audience and stage that I set forth.
This whole debate is a wash now and no one wins in my opinion. Aside from us "locals", none will know what has gone down here because there is too much mud and too few gems.
