The purpose seems to be to discredit alternative media as crackpots by joining alternative media and posting as crackpots ("madman")
In this case 12160 is used as sosial proof for being alternative media "commentators"

Just to say it short. Point is that MANY NOT ALL of these 'alternative media' and so-called 'investigative journalists' never comes out side their small 4 wall confinement using only undocumented and/or manipulated make believe pseudo news articles to make their own gibberish articles that unfortunately creates internet sensationalism on some sites and which in the bigger picture totally discredits the people who just want to show a bigger picture without imprinting their own ideas/agendas onto their readers/followers and/or making easy bucks feeding of naivetivity.
