Your Mini-Farm Grow Box ships with a commercially-made float valve that automatically maintains the appropriate water level in your grow bin. This float valve represents the old system of manufacturing, using centralized factories, injection molding, metal parts, etc.
At the same time, your Mini-Farm Grow Box may OPTIONALLY ship with a full set of the 3D-printed float valve parts invented by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger (you must select this option if you wish to receive these 3D-printed parts). These parts are designed around common objects which are easily acquired or scavenged: a pencil eraser, a paperclip, a garden hose washer and a discarded vitamin bottle. These parts were 3D printed and represent the new system of manufacturing: the decentralized fabrication of functional parts using consumer-grade 3D printers.
These parts were all printed in either Taulman t-glase filament or similar PETT variations. The 3D printers used to print these parts are all consumer-grade 3D printers such as the Type A Machine, Lulzbot Mini, Ultimaker 2 and FlashForge printers.
