Bryan I, that's funny you mention that movie, "equilibrium"...it came up in conversation last night with a few of my friends.  It gave me the opportunity to discuss Alduous Huxley's book A Brave New World in which I believe much of the movies ideas were spawned from.....

Ta Ta.....I'm not saying I condone Duke's actions in regards to hurting others to make his point; but what would you say of the banksters who rob and pillage and take away everything from "main street" through their market manipulation and speculation???  What do you recommend for these individuals?  Before you take offence, I was merely playing devil's advocate here....I know that there is only one TRUE JUDGE in the END.  But who is to say, or not to say, that "man" is not used either knowingly or unknowingly to dispense some wrath and justice?!

I really recommend watching that movie again Bryan to understand the significance of Clay Duke spray painting the V on the wall before his gun battle.  The storyline of the movie, in my opinion, is a warning!

yeah, that movie too. didn't think of that one. i only watched once. but you get the point.

LOve that movie Bryan...or taking over the nationally broadcast t.v. stations similiar to what happened in V for Vendetta might be an effective, yet escalating, means of resistance??!!

if there was any life on mars. people would rob the banks with a support from the community. instead of shooting at each other. if we could only take over the damn tv. like they did in the movie "they live".

The words from Gerald Celente keep ringing in my ears, "When people lose everything, they lose it!"

This was another local event that just happened yesterday:

Mother Killed, 5 Hurt in Gunbattle at California Mall

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Dec. 14) -- A mother loading her 2-year-old son into an SUV was killed Tuesday and five others were wounded in a gunbattle at a strip mall in south Sacramento, authorities said.

Two men were inside Fly Cuts & Styles barber shop just before 1 p.m. when two other men came in and started shooting, said Sacramento County Sheriff's Sgt. Tim Curran.

The men in the barber shop were armed and returned fire, Curran said.

The gunbattle apparently moved into the parking lot with at least one of the suspects getting into a white sedan. Curran said the gunfire continued as some of the suspects got away.

A bullet struck the 30-year-old woman in the chest just after she put her son into the child seat of her Chevy Tahoe, Curran said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene; the child was unhurt and has been placed under child protective services.
